Package  BASIC

When you enroll (either for 3, 6 or 12 months), your car will automatically have basic protection so that even when your car is at home or parked there is adequate coverage that includes the theft of your vehicle. And even if you opt to drive with this basic protection there is still coverage for accidents which cause major damage to your vehicle and also for your liability to third parties.


Basic Package Includes:

- Coverage for theft, fire and accidental damage to your parked vehicle resulting in a total loss or major damage exceeding 75% of the market value of your car (Total Loss Only).

- Coverage for bodily injury or damage to someone else's property (Third-Party Liability), maximum IDR 10 Million any one accident.

- Coverage for the driver and/or passengers being injured while the car is being driven (Personal Accident), IDR 5 Million per person for a maximum of 4 persons (including the driver).

Additional Information:

Turn on and activate low-cost comprehensive insurance (starting from as little as IDR 500/hour), including coverage for collisions and bumps/scratches to your car.


After your chosen period has elapsed, comprehensive cover is deactivated and revert to the Basic Package. Remember to switch on the comprehensive protection each time you drive.


Each time you make a claim you will be responsible for a minimum deductible of IDR 300.000.


Available in 3, 6, or 12-month duration.



Package  PREMIUM

Extend the Basic Package to broaden the scope of coverage. This Premium Package gives the car owner the option to have considerably more protection against catastrophic risks. So even when your car is at home or parked there would be additional coverage for earthquake and flood damage for example.


Premium Package Includes:

- Everything from the Basic Package plus:

- Damage caused by storm, flood, water damage, earthquake, volcanic eruption, strikes, riots, malicious damage and acts of terrorism which causes major damage or a total loss exceeding 75% of the market value of the vehicle (Total Loss Only).

Is this for real?

Who can use Onoff Insurance?

Anyone with a valid car driver's licence, who is at least 21 years old in accordance with the provisions of the Standard Indonesian Motor Vehicle Insurance Policy (PSAKBI)

What are the benefits of using Onoff Insurance?

For those who rarely use your car because of the odd-even rules or perhaps prefer to use public transportation thus resulting in your car being parked or garaged most of the time, you will get the maximum benefit. For users who frequently use cars, don't worry because you won't pay a higher premium than other conventional insurance policies because of the maximum rate set by the OJK.

How does Onoff Insurance work?

With Onoff Insurance, you only need to pay when actually driving your car by activating Comprehensive (On-Demand) protection. You can enjoy On-Demand protection after you buy basic protection (Total Loss Only or TLO for short). Basic protection (TLO) will cover you against certain risks that occur when your car is completely destroyed or stolen while not in use / parked. Of course all the coverage you receive must be in accordance with the provisions of the Standard Indonesian Motor Vehicle Insurance Policy (PSAKBI).

What coverage do you offer?

We offer two types of TLO coverage; a Basic package which is the most economic and the Premium package that also provides extended coverage for riot, strike, malicious damage, terrorism and Acts of God. Remember though, Indonesia lies on the Ring of Fire that makes it prone to earthquakes and in addition Jakarta is susceptible to flooding.


Whichever TLO package you select will determine your On-Demand protection. For example:

1. You will get basic On-Demand protection if you buy the Basic TLO package

2. If you buy the Premium TLO package, you will get premium On-Demand protection.

Does my car need to be surveyed?

No need. With Onoff Insurance you only need to take photos of the vehicle through the Application.

How much do I need to pay for each claim's deductible?

The amount of money you need to pay for a claim before we pay the rest of your loss starts from IDR 500,000 per incident.

1. The amount of deductible is progressive. If you claim more than once a year, the deductible increases as follow:
  A. 1st Incident = 10% of the claim with a minimum of IDR 500,000 per incident
  B. 2nd Incident = 10% of the claim with a minimum of IDR 750,000 per incident
  C. 3rd Incident = 10% of the claim with a minimum of IDR 1,000,000 per incident
  D. 4th Incident = 10% of the claim with a minimum of IDR 1,500,000 per incident
  E. 5th Incident = 10% of the claim with a minimum of IDR 2,000,000 per incident
2. The deductible applies in all risk causes for all events covered by the insurance policy issued.
3. The lower deductible level is applied if you have not filed any claim for more than 90 days since the date of the last claim.
4. Deductible Level A is the lowest deductible amount applied under the Onoff Insurance policy.
5. Deductible Level E is the highest deductible amount applied under the Onoff Insurance policy.
6. The Deductible Tiers are applicable on Total-Loss-Only/TLO and Partial-Loss claims as depicted above.

How to Claim?

Claim Procedure
During the claim procedure, the policyholder has to complete the following claim documents:
1) Partial loss case
  a) Create a report including the accident chronology through the app
  b) Reupload the following documents if the stored/uploaded documents had passed the expiry date:
    i) Driver License of the driver during the accident
    ii) Car Registration (STNK)
    iii) ID card of the application account holder
2) Total loss case
  a) Create a report including the accident chronology through the app.
  b) Give the following original documents to Onoff staff:
    i) Car Registration (STNK), Title (BPKB), purchase invoice, receipt and a signed transfer of property letter
    ii) An accident report from the local police
    iii) A proof that shows that the Car Registration (STNK) has been blocked
  c) Reupload the following documents if the stored/uploaded documents had passed the expiry date:
    i) Driver License of the driver during the accident
    ii) ID card of the application account holder
3) Partial and Total Loss case:
  a) Upload the picture of damage and loss, give information about the estimated repair cost
  b) Submit a local police report if the loss or damage involves the third party or in the case of partial loss because of robbery
  c) Submit a letter of demand from the third party if the damage and loss involve the third party
  d) Submit other relevant documents that are requested for claim settlement
